Since 2023, the SCBA Foundation has empowered over 50 women of all ages through engaging herpetology workshops and field herping events. Our mission is to provide marginalized populations and women with hands-on mentorship in herpetology, focusing on key skills such as identifying how, where, and when to herp, while emphasizing the importance of ethical practices in the field. Through these experiences, we aim to create an inclusive community that inspires confidence, curiosity, and passion for herpetology.
